Keith Tyson is a Turner Prize-winning artist who works in a large variety of media, investigating themes derived from both science and philosophy. His interests range from the nature of causality and the creative process to natural processes and scientific systems. Tyson uses painting, drawing, sculpture and installation in his diverse practice, and frequently employs random or generative means as inspiration, in an attempt to stress what he views as the essentially unified or holistic nature of knowledge, existence, and the universe.
