INTERSECTIONS: SCIENCE IN CONTEMPORARY ART
An exhibition of 35 international artists
Intersections: Science in Contemporary Art includes 57 works by 35 artists – all works are for sale, proceeds will benefit the Weizmann Institute.The artists work looks at aspects of science, theory, and technology, or utilises scientific processes in the making of the piece.Each artist investigates various aspects of science, theory and technology: genetics, alternative energy, research into the nature of the universe and more. By looking at these subjects from “outside the box,” these aesthetic works of art cause us to reflect on science and its relationship to the world.
The exhibition includes painting, photography, kinetic sculpture, video, and new media.

Cathy Wills is a London-based collector and curator. She is also an Ambassador of Weizmann UK and supports the work of Prof. Dan Yakir.
